Struggling through a Confusing Dimension

That's what I've been going through right now in a nutshell; in poetic form.
I'm a college student now in my final year as an undergrad, majoring in Communication Studies at Cal State University, Northridge. This past summer, I was working as an intern at the Edgemar Center for the Arts in Santa Monica, CA in hopes of getting actively involved in the entertainment industry, whether it be on set of a theatrical or film production working alongside actors, directors, producers, and the rest of the crew, or working alongside singers, musicians, their managers, the music executive producers, etc. I just want to be really close to my dream job (singer/actress) and working alongside that is the way to go. Performing in front of people is my passion all throughout my life and I just want to be near that.
