Goodbye, Jealousy

Hello, jealousy. It seems that we are getting to know each other on a personal level.
Although, I cannot honestly say that it is my pleasure.
I dread the awful feeling that you bring into the very core of my being.
You may have it back, it is yours to keep.
Look at what you've done to me, this monster that you have created.
I have become nothing but pure destruction,
 not only to myself,
 but also everyone around me.
Who could have guessed that something as small as you
could have created something like this.
You pathetic little emotion, I wish I could get rid of you, once and for all.
It is begining to seem that you and I are soulmates though, my jealousy.
You and I will be everyone's worst nightmare, destroy everything in our path.
Yet, at the end of the day, we will still be alone.
You are not the company that I want, jealousy.
I will no longer be your slave, a victim of envy.
It is time for us to go our separate ways,
you will find someone else to control.
Goodbye jealousy, I can not exactly say that I will miss you,
or that it was nice knowing you.
Hopefully, we will not be meeting again any time soon.
