The Fall Of The Faeries
The Fall Of The Faeries
Faeries falling from the fiery skies
Twirling tattered helicoptered wings
Brings tears to my traumatized eyes
The solace of hope now ends
Like plump frozen rain drops from angry clouds
Their blazing boldness is now colder than hail
The Magic that was once fairy tale
Is now fertilizer for ancient story tellers
Weeping for their wisdom, wishing for their return
Mother Earth hibernates from the horror
Remnants of their race anointed with pointed ears
Walking and waiting for fortunes to reverse fears
The Fall of the Faeries, kept me silent
The Fall of the Faeries, the tragedy of trying
I wish these tears could turn time into pages
I would a river be and re-write history
The Fall of the Faeries, the Rise of my Mythology
Faeries falling from the fiery skies
Twirling tattered helicoptered wings
Brings tears to my traumatized eyes
The solace of hope now ends
Like plump frozen rain drops from angry clouds
Their blazing boldness is now colder than hail
The Magic that was once fairy tale
Is now fertilizer for ancient story tellers
Weeping for their wisdom, wishing for their return
Mother Earth hibernates from the horror
Remnants of their race anointed with pointed ears
Walking and waiting for fortunes to reverse fears
The Fall of the Faeries, kept me silent
The Fall of the Faeries, the tragedy of trying
I wish these tears could turn time into pages
I would a river be and re-write history
The Fall of the Faeries, the Rise of my Mythology
