With you I feel every emotion
When face to face you are my potion

Then time goes by without seeing you
At first I’m okay but then feel blue

I try to rationalize when you’re away
It’s just a fact that you can’t stay

That doesn’t stop the longing I feel
Wanting your touch,your voice, that’s real

Not hearing from you affects my mood
I distract my thoughts so I won’t brood

Is this pain in my heart or in my brain
Whereever it is, sometimes I feel insane

Withdrawal is an awful feeling
It affects my whole body and being

This isn’t the first time I’ve felt this way
You’d think a lesson I’d learn someday

But I”ll see you again and be in cloud nine
Till you’re gone and withdrawal covers like slime
