Everything I am now

Was shaped from my past

The little girl, afraid of love

Knowing things wouldn't last

Afraid of her own past self

Now, it's not just that anymore

Being accepted as an individual

She tries her very best, yes it's true

So much, that her life is a series of tests

She now succumbs to the anxiety within her

If only her friends would see, but she wouldn't show
