take a trip around my mind
fondle on the treasures
your eyes find
sit with the agony
i've grown to know
talk with my anger
feel the icy flow
trip over my past
break a million bones
heal 'em with my love
that’s forever been alone
confront my denial
with words of hope
slither around my pain
and tell me to cope
chat with my fear
in a tone of caress
then walk away
from this horrid mess
and be thankful
you only took a fuckin' trip around my mind
