Dear coal and firewood.

Take me down only to fail.
Blister me, Break me with words!
And I shall come back lone
To laugh at how you blessed me
And laugh at how you then cursed me.
You suffer not for my terror
But for how you sinned me so!
I told you I'll come back, and I have
With Hell's sulfur behind my back!
Flames of redemption no less!
I walked with words in my shadow
They hurt not but they sure are heavy.
And so I am blessed by tyrant Time
And so I am blessed by Father Hatred
And so I am blessed by dear Insanity,
To forgive you of your sins
Through wails of pain and demise
And reluctance and guilt.
You who built a wall for my kindness
And engineered my furor
Are loved enough to be given mercy
Though not from my tempestuous demons!
Scorn of my world, you shall regret it all
And regret shall be for naught
For my regret then was not given thought
And so now justice will be brought!
