Life as a beach

Crashing waves
are wise to play
without no sun to easily persuade
the current rips
the sand lay still;
my existence here, an isolated thrill.
chaos escapes, calm rolls near
a tender beach that spits on fear.
formed a truce on Salisbury shore
sun in my eyes, can't ask for more.
my feet in the sand, still in dungarees
the blazing sun sells a summer tease.
All this beauty in just one day,
makes me realize that
I am OK.
