Looking into your eyes
I can't help but realize
That even through all these years
You've never once led me to tears

When everyone else abandoned me
You were there making it possible to breath
And when I was broken and in tears
You were there to chase away all my fears

Though you only stayed a while
Your words still make me smile

They help to carry me through the year
