She Dances In Starlight
Such beauty I have beheld
Like angelic dreams beyond reach
A paradise under veils
She is the light in the dark
Like the dawn on the beach
A vision sent from heaven
The only light there in my life
To chase away the demons
A sword against the cold days
As she watched over night
Now here at the end
I'm reaching for her hand
There is nothing there
No voice for me to hear
In tragedy all alone
When the hour hand strikes on twelve
I can feel it in my bones
Is enough to make me cry
I'm living in this hell
Blood was spilt on wet asphalt
On that one rain slicked Autumn night
And I know I am at fault
I still cry rivers of tears
I long to see the light
Where did it begin
The whiskey or the gin?
The voice is still there
No forgiveness to hear
At the end of this highway
Her hands holding me on this night
As my breath leaves me today
I see her beckoning me
She's dancing in starlight
Now here at the end
I'm reaching for her hand
There is something there
Her voice, for me to hear
Like angelic dreams beyond reach
A paradise under veils
She is the light in the dark
Like the dawn on the beach
A vision sent from heaven
The only light there in my life
To chase away the demons
A sword against the cold days
As she watched over night
Now here at the end
I'm reaching for her hand
There is nothing there
No voice for me to hear
In tragedy all alone
When the hour hand strikes on twelve
I can feel it in my bones
Is enough to make me cry
I'm living in this hell
Blood was spilt on wet asphalt
On that one rain slicked Autumn night
And I know I am at fault
I still cry rivers of tears
I long to see the light
Where did it begin

The voice is still there
No forgiveness to hear
At the end of this highway
Her hands holding me on this night
As my breath leaves me today
I see her beckoning me
She's dancing in starlight
Now here at the end
I'm reaching for her hand
There is something there
Her voice, for me to hear
