Across horizons
A blackened sun
Choked with soot
Illuminating
Crooked crosses
Benevolent lords
Indifferent shrug
Watch afar
Are desecrating
Players on the board
Preparing in the face of fraud
The word is the law
Bloodshed in the name of God
On their knees, the people crawl
Armies marching forth
On the crusade
In God's name
Exterminating
For what it's worth
Those lost infidels
Set to the sword
Crucified
Are abandoning
Their faith in this hell
Words of man become word of God
And word is the law
Crucify in the name of fraud
Reaching hands are really claws
Faceless, faithless
Caress, duress
Omit, prophets
Clueless, godless
Preparing in the face of fraud
