Through The Eyes of a Murderer

As midnight comes, I see my prey.
I've imagine this night many times before
Rewinding over again in my head
Each scenario playing on stage how I image things to go.
By this time I've learned everything,
Nobody knows her better than I do...
Her beautiful smile and porcelain skin.
She had permeated through my skull,
I can't go another night without having her.
So I must do what any other man would do...
The sound of crashing and muffled screams flew throughout the air.
The adrenaline is pumping through my veins.
I knew at this moment that there was no turning back.
Here I was Carrying her limp body to the cellar.
As I placed her down, she had never looked so perfect.
No moment has ever felt this great.
I knew what I had did was wrong but why does it feel so good?
I couldn't help but to find pleasure watching her,
sometimes lead to hours even days.
For once in my life I felt content, I had felt no remorse..
The more desperate her family and friends became,
the more hungry I felt.
I was safe in the cellar, No one could touch me.
But as I said, I had started to feel the emptiness again..
I craved that high, that began to drift
I knew I couldn't love anyone as much as I loved Elena.
As a child my mother had always told me,
Bad habits die hard.
At least she was right about me,
I have tasted the forbidden fruit and I wanted more.
What as become of me?
As midnight comes, I see my prey.
