To be able to hold you
to love you like this
Next to you always
Its how I wanted it to stay
For existing in this cruel world
My presence here harms you
I hurt you without knowing
The 'smile' you show
Your heart nearly showing
I know I messed up
I know I hurt you
Your not the only one
This is the truth
I'm sorry I'll leave
Just let this be
I say 'goodbye'
I'll leave today
Just promise me this
'Never give your life away..'

Still depressing but very well written. Is something wrong if it is just say to yourself this " time is a ally as it is your worst enemy " i say this because you should cherish the moments you had with him/her. Also think about this "people will forget about you but they will never forget how you made them feel" so everything will be fine just hold on tight and don't let go to the things that really matter to you.
