My Heart Is Heavy
Like a ship's anchor, my heart free falls
On to the deep dark bottom, unknown to the naked eye
I seek to see the light through the dim, hollowed forest
It feels like i'm going under cardiac arrest
I feel the throbbing of my heart slowly going under
As if the world is coming to a suspended halt
My head keeps banging against the spiked wall
I stand and see the comings and goings of friends and foes
Unable to stop the inevitable plummet of my heart
My life flashes before my visual eye
So vivid it leaves me scarred for life
Only those who stand with me can see the light
I was born to make you clear and bright
On to the deep dark bottom, unknown to the naked eye
I seek to see the light through the dim, hollowed forest
It feels like i'm going under cardiac arrest
I feel the throbbing of my heart slowly going under
As if the world is coming to a suspended halt
My head keeps banging against the spiked wall
I stand and see the comings and goings of friends and foes
Unable to stop the inevitable plummet of my heart
My life flashes before my visual eye
So vivid it leaves me scarred for life
Only those who stand with me can see the light
I was born to make you clear and bright
