Silhouette I'll shelter

The pain that lies on forever
Will go on as the sun sets
And as I continue to blink
Knowing you're not in my arms

Let me protect you in nights
And adorn you during the day
But my love whom I've not met
Is a name I know not now, not yet.

And though I only see her in my mind
I can feel that her very soul loves I
For the heart was born blind
To feel that angel's ghostly caress.

Save me from oh tantalizing want
By letting me be your shelter
Once our paths inevitably meet.
And you'll be the flower morning greets
