Ghost Dances.

shes got barricades and bloody arrows across her heart.

hes been tongue tied ever since he recollects the time spent kicking down her pride.

she fights nights confusing tourquoise with bruises.

he does not belong to the personal song of the rain,
who makes love to the earth,
his lies are sung with whiskey upon breath which are hung from the nooses..
and the melodies of manipulation he sings..
will no longer congregate her movement.

her eyes will not become wet due to his inner sorrow-
she remains reclusive.

he, hides behind indian graffiti splashed as scars across his face.
locked behind mental prison bars,
as our ancestors cry to the stars,
boarding school paper trails erased.

ghost dances, she, has lost her identity.
but he is not so strong without her open wings.

he, cannot breathe, dispassionate observer finally falls to his knees.

while the procession of spirits takes place.
she prays..
and he begins to taste the grit of her heart break.
