Succumb (A Sonnet)
Your ghost tosses blooms into my Bed Head
Satin flecks on a restless Sea of Red
My waist cries out for hands it Never Knew
Gripping me, Bruising me, Reckless Spring Blue
Possess me, because I'm careless enough
But don't cast me away when I get Rough
For my heart is a Blanket of Roses
That seeps Heroin in heavy doses
Prick your fingers on my Venomous Thorns
Let my Vines get tangled on your Great Horns
Gather yourself over me like A Cloud
Powerful and Thunder rolling so Loud
Lightening strike me, set me A-Fire
Inhale me as my Smoke rises Higher
Satin flecks on a restless Sea of Red
My waist cries out for hands it Never Knew
Gripping me, Bruising me, Reckless Spring Blue
Possess me, because I'm careless enough
But don't cast me away when I get Rough
For my heart is a Blanket of Roses
That seeps Heroin in heavy doses
Prick your fingers on my Venomous Thorns
Let my Vines get tangled on your Great Horns
Gather yourself over me like A Cloud
Powerful and Thunder rolling so Loud
Lightening strike me, set me A-Fire
Inhale me as my Smoke rises Higher
