Infatuated
Infatuation
what may you be
a dazzling star in the sky
leaving me momentarily blind.
You've given me hope
the kind of hope that makes you believe
but you know it all must pass by
and at some point we must move on.
You've made me smile so big
the kind of smile that knew love
I know this is not the same
even though, it would've been nice if it was more.
Lust me, like me,
you know it's not meant to be;
and maybe in another life,
in another time, we might again meet.
