Sun Moon and Stars

Like the sun giving warmth and light to the dark.
Always present and providing gateway to life.
Longed for in winter and loved in spring
Able to enhance the smallest spark.
In awe of beautiful morning beginnings and the soft glow at dusk
Your loving touch; wanting and needing much
that’s what it means…To me

Like the moon giving guidance on stormy seas
Ensuring the swelling rise in midnight tides
Not always seen but ever here
The brightness and brilliance as well as the dark side
Clandestine rendezvous in lover’s secret garden
Your comforting words,  nothing to fear
that’s what they mean…To me

Like the stars giving their occasional breath-taking wish
Astrologers map of discovery to the universe dark blue
Twinkling lights as two become one, in sweet romance
Every changing designs, yet essentially the same, depending on view
The shattering release and pleasure of wicked tongues dance
Your warm kisses,  craving much more
That’s what they mean.. To me

As I see the dawns early light,
and then it's followed by dark night.
