Do Not Mirror Me

A stale taste

For the crab

Withdrawing into shell with a tight aching twist

This sanctuary besieged by mold

The sloth of your heart

Has you bound by neglect as a snake constricting

You carry this great weight

The gravity hastens your pace to deteriorate

A filthy canvas beyond cleaning the slate

A fly spewing to sugar taste

Rattling the home you fashioned into a cage

Root down

Await for the world to shower you with the gifts you feel are owed

May the bubble of delirium not burst

Never to pay the piper for failing to work

Let the rivers of gold flow free

Never to beg shamefully in the shade of a plea

Leave the man lurching

Quietly be
