Morgum Fry Lily (An Epitaph)
Here lies the corpse of Morgum Fry Lily
Bathed in formaldehyde, and dressed in velvet
She died as God intended
Leaving broken hearts unmended
Because life is nothing but a sponge
Soaking up catastrophe as heart rates plunge
In remembrance of our morgue jump martyr
Let us dress our skin in blades and
Feel the collective ardor of blood love
Let us find peace within her veins
Bathed in formaldehyde, and dressed in velvet
She died as God intended
Leaving broken hearts unmended
Because life is nothing but a sponge
Soaking up catastrophe as heart rates plunge
In remembrance of our morgue jump martyr
Let us dress our skin in blades and
Feel the collective ardor of blood love
Let us find peace within her veins
