the creatures mistake
i am shocked at what i see in the mirror
disturbed at the face staring back
i ask myself, from where did she come
what horrible creature allowed this life
and then i remember....
the creature allowed a birth and cast thee out
took one look and ran for the hills
to live a life without her disgusting mistake
but why would she do such a thing
and then i remember....
the creature was damned herself
for she looked in the very same mirror
and was utterly disgusted
and so she hid....
as i shall to

An amazingly dark and powerful piece. Reminds me a little of 'The Lady of Shalott'.

this is really one of my favorite pieces. it's dark and sad, yet relatable.
