The Beast
The feeling,
Of a blade cutting through your skin,
You saw back and forth,
Watching your skin part,
The cut gets longer,
Then you push harder,
And the cut gets deeper,
You never remove the blade,
Until you are sure your done,
You just push harder,
And saw back and forth,
The deeper you go,
The more blood starts to show,
And that's when you know,
How much farther you still need to go,
You stand by the sink,
With your arm over top,
Watching the blood,
It's ever drop,
Once the blood,
Starts to pour,
That's a sign,
That you don't have to saw anymore,
You remove the blade,
Clean it off,
And just put it away,
You continue to watch,
As the blood drips into the sink,
You tried to stop the bleeding,
But you couldn't ...
You start to feel lightheaded,
You decide to sit in the tub,
You slowly lean back and close your eyes,
Feeling the warmth,
Of the blood around you,
Slowly drifting away,
You knew that you were slowly dying,
And the thought of that was okay.
