The Beauty of Dreams
Day falls to night
My pillow meets my head
A silence of light
No sound to be said
I gaze at the roof
Many thoughts on my mind
Heart starts to fade
Eyes close gently
Im walking on a prarie
Stars chart my way
Grass as tall as my knees
They roll with the wind
A tree sits over a hill
It sticks out like black in white
I guide myself to its bed
And sit side by side
The leaves chatter a tune
Scents of oak and wheat
The air is chill, full of life
The moon and my eyes meet
The moon awe's with orange
like the prarie on a summer's day
I feel so small in a beautiful world
Im thankfull for this day
Minutes turn to hours
The moon departs for sleep
the sun peeps its rays over the horizon
I am dazzled
Soon it stands over the horizon
Then is covered by the envious clouds
A spark of lightning stuns the ground
and slowly water falls to the earth
I leave my companion
and look toward the sky
Rain speaks a song
I almost feel I can fly
I close my eyes and let go
Nothing can ruin this moment
Soon the sun parts the clouds
a rainbow kisses the sky
And I wake.
My pillow meets my head

No sound to be said

Many thoughts on my mind
