Falling Feathers

Feathers fall from angel wings,
Floating down without a sound.
In the distance a churchbell rings.
A mother cries
As the choirboy sings.

Feathers fall from angel wings
Hypocrisy permeates the air
Its a double edged sword that stings
Like a hornet,
Angry, violent
Without mercy or care.

Feathers fall from an angels wing.
A young girl shoots, not with a gun.
Lays back, waits for it to sing.
The poison pulsing through her veins
Binds more tightly than any chains.

Feathers fall from his angel's wing
An old man sits,
Quietly drinking.
The memories he has of a life gone past
Are quietly slipping
And he can't remember to tell anyone.

Feathers fall from angel wings
A little boy scratches through a rubbish bin
He's hungry and hurt, he can't go home
He doesn't have one.
He is alone.

A work in progress, I can't figure out how to end it, any and all criticism/feedback/inspiration/insults would be much appreciated
