Broken (Away From Self)

I'm so far away, bereft   
Away from that place I use to know  
Painted my sky with sorrows   
Streets wet, ebbs of hurt run down the banks of my sidewalks   
Faded footprints from where I once use to walk   
 
Away from self   
Concealing everything   
Everything that's in me   
Including my face, im broken  
Overwhelming pain   
Smile that has been replaced   
Tell you the truth I'm without no faith   
Vessel hollowed, spirit broken   
No longer singing hymns to thy soul  
Abandon eyes, forlorned  
Nothing left inside  
   
Darkness shadowing me   
Wearing it upon my skin   
Surrounded by it   
Shroud has fallen   
Lost, I've lost my religion   
Schism into coliginosity affirmation   
Circumstances, convictions  
Inclinations in perpetuum, nevermore altering   
Contending incessant pain   
Continual bleeding   
Bathing away in misery 
 
This loneliness is killing me
Shadowing me quicker than darkness   
Crawling up the surface of my skin
Visibly surrounded by it   
I'm so far away, bereft   
Away from self   
I'm broken
