The strongest woman I've ever known x
I am your only daughter
I inherited and bear
your hips
Your wide shoulder bones
And I nestle is deep
As you did
To create my family home
I am strong like you were
But not as tough
And I have your fire
Your passionate love
When daddy looks at me now
He is looking at a younger version of you
And the burden you carried
I now carry to
The family were ripped apart the day that you died
But Ive unconsciously become the glue that holds the parts with pride
I'm trying my best to stand where you stood
But you did what you did
The best that you could
I am giving it my all
So this family without you doesn't
Fall
The burden is heavy
It's a hell of a load
But I will give it my best
The best way I no
Your shoes strong and firm
My feet don't quite fit
But I wear them anyway
And get on with it
Sometimes in my memories
I can even smell you
Like your standing beside me
Pushing me through
With the family scattered
I hold the rope
I'm winding them In
Because together
the better we cope
The boys are older than me
But they haven't a clue
Their stability left them
The day they lost you
I try to protect them
Be the rock that they need
But some times the stones they throw are to heavy for me
How you did it
I'll never really no
Because I'm now absolutely sure now
