You transparently show the fall of a relationship in which a person is looking for only pleasure, and you are upset, but there is also blended into the poem a pure sensation and vulnerability in the line: "For me it has always been more". That reveals a lesson of the human experience that many of us are looking for something deeper than the superficial senses though the deeper feelings make the superficial senses more intense, but we often end up in situations when only the superficial is offered to us. If only the superficial senses are offered, then what is the need of a person anyway. We might as well just do ourselves sometimes if empty shallow sex is all that someone else is going to give.

Exactly. Why do we need it from others if we can get it ourselves. ;)
