Breath of Life

Sailing seas from dawn of time,
to elicit prose in sailor's rhyme.
Singing lullabies to lonely wives,
Encourage music from the chime.

Brings new life when spring arrives,
nature's random fury, taking lives.
Bearing fragrant menu to the bees,
the nectar transferred to their hives.

It's gentle sighs caress the trees,
swaying branch to oust the leaves.
flowing over rolling hills of green,
this restless spirit, all life receives.

Born again and again, it never dies,
on the breath of life, all life relies.
