This is me, this is who I have become
I stay in my room all day, letting my life come undone
I go to school, go to work and come home
each morning I brush my long hair with a purple comb
I go to school and bite my lip
or gnaw on a bloody finger tip
I won't hurt anyone no matter how much they want me to
I keep my anger in fierce check, so I'll just avoid you
how much I miss my lover, my very best friend
Hopefully this love will never see an end
From day to day life goes on
But the days seem to be getting so very long
