Moment of Bliss

As the moon sits in the middle of the sky
Betwixt the edge of the universe
And the center of my eyes
I feel reborn in this verse

There's a certain magic
In writing what I see
Nothing seems drastic
As I slip into a daydream

Nature is my inspiration
The poems are the proof
Why would I ignore this sensation
In the prime of my youth?

I hope I never see the day
Where I must put down the pen
If my life goes that way
I will know it has reached its end

Right now there's a moon
Sitting in the sky
And I am not going anywhere soon
Until I chronicle this moment of mine
