The Fall of Yggdrasil or Forever Night

When demons call,
and dragons fall.
Beware, the call of man.
When blood is spilled,
prophecy is fulfilled.
We try to make a stand.
But one by one,
we all will succumb.
'Til there's no one left to fight.
No chance to rebuild,
once nature is killed.
Nothing left but forever night.
We can not abstain
from natures disdain.
Shame fills my heart, look away.
Protection will fade,
'Tho it's why we were made.
No more sun to light up the day.
I can no longer take
all of the mistakes,
or those who claim it's their right.
I don't want to see
the fall of the tree,
or live in the Forever Night.
