JUST A SECOND
Just a second, is all it takes and everything around you can change, The ground you find solid enough to stand upon may melt away like liquid glass.
you may lose everything you had, standing devastated.
We humans keep planning things our entire life even when we are not sure enough of having one single next breath.
We fight for things, we kill, commit suicide;
A share of property or a handful of printed paper;
on petty issues we argue,
for small things we stay angry for days,
for unfulfilled desires,
we protest. In the race of amassing wealth
we even forget when to let go and whom to protect.
The Whole of our time is spent thinking about the next big thing
Everything in this world is perishable; money or relations,
what you accumulated can also be lost. We fear the loss and then
keep wandering from astrologers to preachers to save us from it.
Either we are too innocent or too stupid that we seek help from other humans who are as helpless as we ourselves are.
Faith, trust, devotion LOVE, these are felt not taught by any teacher however great they may claim to be.
We search for gods in temples and following our physical eyes we run astray, younger, prettier, sexier other one, forgetting the one who loves you still.
when we sit under the shade of a tree during noon, by evening the area of shade changes because of the rotation of earth on its axis. But it doesn't mean that shade does not exist, it is just that the position of sun is now different and will be different again after some time. Life changes its course, it loves motion and every single second is capable of writing a new history.
for ever and a day I have lived in THE SHADE AND NOW AGAIN I COME OUT TO FACE THE BURNING SUN, HOPING TO FIND MY SHARE OF LIFE AGAIN. MAYBE SOME LOVE.
SHADE IS WHERE I BELONG.
SOME DESERVE TO SHINE IN THE SUN, THEIR LIGHT IS A PULL FOR PEOPLE SUCH AS I, WHO HAS KNOWN NOTHING BUT SHADE.
so step into the light of your friends who do shine, and forget the shade you live in, if only for a while.
you may lose everything you had, standing devastated.
