This Dream
I see the stars.
I see you in them.
Without even thinking.
I walked right to them.
I saw you sitting.
I walked straight to you.
You knew it was me.
You wrapped me in your arms.
You kissed me on my lips.
You took me by the hand.
You led me to our place.
We laid there for hours.
It felt just like reality.
To be with you again.
It ended to soon.
You gave me a good morning kiss.
With tears in my eyes.
I awoke from this dreamful bliss.
I know i cant bring you back.
But i still have you in my heart.
For when night comes.
And i look at the stars.
I lay my head down again.
Knowing i'll see you tonight.
I see you in them.
