Roar
Anger, hate and misery
Caused by all they did to me
A monster raging deep inside
Kept locked up and forced to hide
"Rage, Rage, go away!"
"But I'll be back again another day"
It wants to show it's ugly head
I push it back and smile instead
It's not allowed to come and play
I can't say all I want to say
"I'll stay and hide and you'll not know,
I'll hide and grow and grow and grow
Til one day you'll hear me roar
And wish you'd listened years before!"

this makes me think of the demon within, least i know i'm not the only person struggling to contain it.... very nice!
