Hide and Seek
You don’t see my struggle,
You don’t see my pain;
You just see me smile,
Hiding everything away.
Come closer and you’ll see
What’s meant for you to be,
A dazzling angel from the sky
Giving smiles to those who cry.
I just want you to be my antidote
The pill that puts me to sleep
I don’t want to live in this world,
May you please kill this black sheep?
In my nightmares you show up,
Counting the seconds till I break;
Beautifully silent in the dark
Slowly tearing me apart.
