STILL MY BABY
STILL MY BABY
He was the pinnacle of my life...
I was much...oh so much younger then
The most beautiful feeling...waiting
and then...when he arrived... Heaven!
Perfect form...and a pleasure.
Bathing him... Feeding him...
cuddling him..comforting him
The softness of his skin...
was like a flower...and...
a dream come true 'still my baby'
Suddenly...almost overnight...he grew up...
So big... and strong as a horse
My baby son had become a schoolboy.
Clever...full of energy...adventurous...
a little outspoken...amusing...'still my baby'.
His teenage years...wanting...pleading
All the things that...challenging boys do..
he did...
An intelligent..good looking youth.
I loved watching him grow
...and mature!..but he was...'still my baby'
But now...he's a man...a physical powerhouse...
Strong as a bull...smarter than ever.
He's been up...and been down...deep down
He's been in...and been out...but
Even now. ..he is...'still my baby'
