I can't tell you if I'm angry

I can't tell you how I'm feeling
Whether it's good or bad

I won't tell you why I'm crying
I won't tell you I need a hug
I won't tell you how I'm feeling
If you ask me I'll just shrug

I'll lie and say I'm okay
I'll lie and say I'm fine
I'll lie about how I'm feeling
I'll never say what's on my mind

Don't find my silence alerting
I just need to be left alone
