"The Reciprocation of the Comfort that we Receive from our Father." (Unto Others).

2 Corinthians 2: 3-5
Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
Who Comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

As I read this passage of Scriptures this morning they jumped out at me and spoke loudly.
They first off plainly declare that when we are troubled we can go to God our Father and that He will Comfort us.

And that is a great Blessing to know that we, "Are not Alone," and that we can go to the One who is the Progenitor of us all and Himself being Abundant and Full of Compassion and Wisdom can Comfort us through all of our troubles.
Whether in mind or heart.

But when this takes place something else miraculous takes place.
The Scripture says that when we are Comforted by Him we can then take that same Comfort and Comfort someone else with it because we now know the feeling of being troubled but also of receiving Comfort.

We have learned how to effectively help others through their troubles.
If you will, our experience makes us empathic.

We freely received this Comfort but it is not ours to keep.

We are to go out and feel the needs of others and when we do, the Comfort that we have learned from Him is to be reciprocated unto the one in sorrow.

And these few Scriptures that I have chosen close with, "The Sufferings of Christ Abound in us."

As we begin to learn and become one with these desires of Compassion and Mercy and Kindness the Sufferings of Christ begin to flourish within us because these are the emotions that He felt towards humanity.

He said in one Scripture concerning Himself that He was in the bosom of the Father.
The bosom is the place where the desires dwell.

Compassion, Loving-Kindness, Goodness, Tenderness, Bowels of Mercy.
All of these, (and so many more), are in the Heart of the Father and as we become One with Him, all these attributes of His Nature begin to conform us into their likeness.
