Empty Mirror

I look in the mirror
The reflection looks back at me
Screaming at me
Hunting me
Defying me
Asking me… where is the woman I use to be?
Judging me
I scream back at the mirror
I am here
I am who people make me out to be
The screaming shatters the mirror in a thousand pieces
The blow back cutting my skin
Thousands of pieces of my skin hitting the floor
Blood dripping down my face
I look in the mirror
All I now see is an empty hole and that’s who I am today!
