Bittersweet Memory

What a bitter sweet sight to see
a son weeping for his mother
his family surrounding her
his father and his brothers

As everyone sits in silence
his cries pierce my soul
this woman was amazing
it's just to hard to let go

It's painful to see one like that
so lifeless and cold
when they were always full of life
and only 52 years old

She has been through so much
but always wore a smile on her face
she had the Lord Jesus with her
no matter what it was she faced

Such a very strong woman
who lived such a very fufilling life
she had many friends and loved ones
she was a grandmother, mother, and wife

Never take any life for granted
not even for a minute
remember all the priceless moments
and the special people in it

This room is filled with so many
who this woman's life had touched
we all gather together for her
for this woman meant so much

she's off to a better place
as she's finally layed to rest
next to another beloved son
to know her we were blessed

my heart wrenches in pain
I know no words to speak
just pure emotion i feel
I can't hold back, I weep

what a bitter sweet sight to see
a son weeping for his mother
his family surrounding her
his father and his brothers

In loving memory of Georgia Flood
