Relapse
Did you see the phantom in the wind?
I swear he was just standing there
Not motionless
But resting
His limbs were unaware
Did you hear the phantom calling my name?
It rolled off his tongue like a slight breeze
It's calling me now
Didn't you hear his whisper release?
Did you sense the phantom in your bones?
He was close enough to touch
But far enough to be alone
I swear he's sliding through my skin
He's unraveling my hair
He's tensing my hands
And stealing my air
Do you not miss the phantom now he's gone?
He waited but a moment before moving on
He's still touching my heart
And dis coloring my soul
Did you not notice the chunks he ripped from my whole?
I saw the phantom
The invisible man
Like a vortex of the wind
A tornado of dust is dizzying me
I am still spinning
And I watch as you've
Settled
I swear he was just standing there
Not motionless
But resting
His limbs were unaware
Did you hear the phantom calling my name?
It rolled off his tongue like a slight breeze
It's calling me now
Didn't you hear his whisper release?
Did you sense the phantom in your bones?
He was close enough to touch
But far enough to be alone
I swear he's sliding through my skin
He's unraveling my hair
He's tensing my hands
And stealing my air
Do you not miss the phantom now he's gone?
He waited but a moment before moving on
He's still touching my heart
And dis coloring my soul
Did you not notice the chunks he ripped from my whole?
I saw the phantom
The invisible man
Like a vortex of the wind
A tornado of dust is dizzying me
I am still spinning
And I watch as you've
Settled
