Seasonal Depression
I hate when the sunlight
Creeps through the curtains
Hitting my face thus waking me
From a flawless slumber
Absolute frustration sets in
As I slowly crawl out of bed
Onto the cold hardwood floor
Winter's chill makes the house
Nearly unbearable
Outside it is sub-zero degrees
And the emptiness of the pantry
Makes me cry
Then I realize I have a dog:
Boxer named Gigi
So I break her neck
And stick her in the oven
Delicious and filling
Much relief to the void in my growling stomach...
