Vulnerability

he pushes her down
she falls to the ground
he wonders why
she won't scream or cry
seeing her there lying on the floor
makes him want her even more
vulnerability is what makes him happy
pain is his high
bringing pain to her world makes him feel alive
she stays on the ground
not even bothering to fight
she's been so damaged
she's already dead inside
she does what he wants
she doesn't think for herself
she endures the pain
and thinks of nothing else
she wants to escape
but she knows its no use
cuz she'll return to this man
and beg for his abuse
vulnerability is what makes her happy
pain is her high
enduring this pain makes her feel alive
