Alliteration and rhyme
To catch the eye
Your funny little line
Made me cry
How can you say with such ease,
The horrific works of men
Who do as they please
Murderers, do you remember them?
Don't you see?
That you paint the skies grey
Are they going to hurt me?
Like you always say,
I see words on signs
And it's always the same
Funny little lines,
Bringing the pain.
To catch the eye
Your funny little line
Made me cry
How can you say with such ease,
The horrific works of men
Who do as they please
Murderers, do you remember them?
Don't you see?
That you paint the skies grey
Are they going to hurt me?
Like you always say,
I see words on signs
And it's always the same
Funny little lines,
Bringing the pain.
