Beauty
It races through me
Through the very marrow of my bones
To my nerves and heart and soul.
Speechless,lost in this unearthly beauty
The beauty of nature
Enraptured by the curves of the land
Of glistening oceans and uninhabited forests
Everything is lost once more
Beauty overtaking my senses
Bathing me me in a haze of sapphire hued daydreams
Flying far above a carpet of endless white
Under the stately beauty of emerald expanses
I have been gifted with a glimpse into heaven
No longer is there a Me.
Nothing left of a single entity,
But of one joined with the very land.
There is nothing beyond this beauty
No love or dreams of grander things.
No hate and strife that poisions the soul of humanity
There is only I,feeling like none before has felt,
This precious moment that slips away too swiftly
Like sand through my fingertips.
It leaves nothing in its wake
Apart from a brilliant burning joy
A joy I yearn to spread
To scream from highest mountaintops
To ramparts of towering castles
And to aquamarine oceans
Craving that someone will take heed of this call
So that they too may experience
This fleeting glimpse of heaven
Beauty in its purest form.
Through the very marrow of my bones
To my nerves and heart and soul.
Speechless,lost in this unearthly beauty
The beauty of nature
Enraptured by the curves of the land
Of glistening oceans and uninhabited forests
Everything is lost once more
Beauty overtaking my senses
Bathing me me in a haze of sapphire hued daydreams
Flying far above a carpet of endless white
Under the stately beauty of emerald expanses
I have been gifted with a glimpse into heaven
No longer is there a Me.
Nothing left of a single entity,
But of one joined with the very land.
There is nothing beyond this beauty
No love or dreams of grander things.
