Awaken, angel.
Either I'm blinded
Or I could never see at all.
I can see flickers of light,
But they all seem so far.
I'm lost here,
Dissipating at the brink of despair.
I against all odds
And this is all so unfair.
How could you possibly think,
That I truly don't care?
Why would I stress?
And why would I cry?
Why would I be wishing,
So badly I'd die?
My life has lost meaning once more,
No motivation,
My face glued to the floor.
I would have done anything,
To make your frowns lift,
Why didn't I see,
This terrible shift?
It was all so fast.
And I had no time to catch it,
No time to react,
So I had to accept it.
I wish you'd just open your eyes,
And truly see,
Who has been by your side.
Or I could never see at all.
I can see flickers of light,
But they all seem so far.
I'm lost here,
Dissipating at the brink of despair.
I against all odds
And this is all so unfair.
How could you possibly think,
That I truly don't care?
Why would I stress?
And why would I cry?
Why would I be wishing,
So badly I'd die?
My life has lost meaning once more,

To make your frowns lift,

So I had to accept it.
I wish you'd just open your eyes,
And truly see,
Who has been by your side.
