Love...

There are many things I simply don't understand. One of them being how people say that love is only about romance. It makes me wonder if they have ever stopped and looked around. Love is much more than romance. It can be cold and cruel. But love is many things.
Love is:
Being happy to see your friend again after going so long with out spending time together
It's getting excited because your friend is excited
It's putting up w people when you're at your breaking point
It's being playful
It's being sad because your friend doesn't see how beautiful they are
It's getting angry and threatening the punk who made your best friend sad then laughing about it with them
It's doing what you can to make a person smile when they are sad.
It is helping a complete stranger
Love is seeing the bond between two people and noticing how they care for each other
Love is being protective of the ones you care about.
It's listening to someone else even tho you don't know what to say
It's hugging
It's watching as a mother bird feeds her helpless children
It's watching two little kids play together even tho they never met before.
Feeling sad when someone you care about is sad
Missing the moments you once had
Asking if a person is OK
Reaching out
It is looking at how happy a dog and owner look when they go play or take a walk

Love is many things.
Love can be beautiful...
