Daddy..
I wrote this poem after Christmas in 2012, threw my children's eyes..
Daddy do you see how you hurt me?
Do you feel the pain when you see pictures of us?
We don't know why your not trying to be apart of our lives, we don't know that you never wanted us around in the first place .
Daddy..?
Why don't you feel guilty that your the reason I wake up screaming, wishing I had got the chance to see you?
I cry daddy every week I ask mommy why every week daddy I blame my mommy although we seen what you've done to her daddy why did you hit mommy and make her cry?
Daddy why did the police take you away?
Do you think about us? Or does she consume all of your thoughts?
Why can't I call you, did you have a good Christmas?
I miss you so much daddy what did I do?
I try and ask mommy what I did wrong but she just hugs me and cries..
Please daddy I didn't get to say goodbye

This is so sad but true, little ones feel so deeply for everyone around- most of all their parents. It is hard to know what to do when your in love but it is dysfunctional for some reason, and your not sure if you can let go- sometimes afraid it will kill you to let go- often afraid it will kill you to hold on. I am there. SO I pray, for guidance, and I sing MYSELF love songs . Thank you for sharing, I found it very thought provoking.

I know how those kids feel, I support you though if you are trying. My mom left my dad a couple years ago for abiding all of us. That was a very though provoking poem and it was also beautiful I'm glad you shared.
