My Dream

As i dosed off to sleep
I saw a girl
One who needs help
And is shunned by the world

Gazing at her
I looked into her eyes
Deep like and ocean
Filled with despair and sadness inside

I reached out my hand
Telling her to come with me
She looks at me sadly saying "no
i could never leave"

She gives me an assuring look saying "ill be ok,
but leave this place and never come again."
"I dont know how i got here" i said
Then her words of wisdom began
always be happy and enjoy your life in full
I asked who she was summoning a door and pushing me out
She responded "im you"

I then awoke from my slumber
With a look of confusion on my face
But i heeded her warning
with not a second to waste

i always  think about the girl in my dream
and about what she told me til this day
I did what she said
And i never saw her again
